I bought four of these.It took a while for me to put them in so I could not ship them back.I broke the plastic light cover on one prior to even getting it up!You press it in some over a lip to get it off to install.SNAP; the whole plastic cover breaks in half!Tape that back together... real nice.Then I get them up and shortly after turning them on, one starts flickering.Another hums (not real loud but audible) for a while till it is warmed up.Changing to new bulbs ($) did not help.Just turned on all 4 now; not flickering now.Not sure if it is only in warmer weather or what.About 70F in the house now vs. 80F in the summer.It was flickering earlier this week so not sure what the problem is.Others have also flickered at times so I rarely use them.
I sent an e-mail to the company, seems like I had to track it down on the internet, and they took a long time to respond.Said I need to send the whole unit back.I have not done that due to the hassle; take them down, pack them up and shipping cost.The units are quite long so shipping would cost as much as going out and buying a replacement ballast myself.
That is what I would prefer... ship me out a new ballasts.
