I bought this item through Amazon.com and it arrived quickly as usual. The design is classic, and looks nice. Unfortunately one of the hooks broke installing it in my ceiling. They are very long (probably much longer than necessary) and made of cheap steel.
I called the Royce customer service hotline and was given a new hook. (OK, I lied and said there was a hook missing. I'm not proud of it, but I just couldn't stand the idea of paying $10 for a (cheap) hook from a $50 pot rack that was manufactured for less than $1.) I was quickly connected to a real live person. She was friendly and helpful. I would give this customer service experience an A+.
**Edit:** It took Royce 3 attempts, but they did finally get me the proper part. Before that they sent a part from a different fixture, and then they sent the wrong part from this item. All the while the phone staff was courteous and responsive.**End Edit**
The pot rack is of adjustable height. There isn't much info on how adjustable it is, so I thought I'd provide some. The hanging poles are made of three sections: one 6" long and two 12" long. Thus the height choices are 6", 12", 18", 24" and 30". All of these are in addition to the ~6" minimum height provided by the hanging hardware.
I'm still waiting on my replacement hook, so I'll see how much I like it when it's up in the air, but I am pretty excited about my new pot rack.
I wasn't sure when I bought the product, but so far I'm happy about it.
