
It killed 4 new AA batteries in 6 days at an average use of 30 minutes per day.
Which is possibly a rather amazing feat of electrical engineering.
How can you pull that much energy out of 4 batteries at a luminence of, I'd guess, 20 lumens... on par with a nightlite.
Heat may be one answer, as the rightmost battery was pretty hot in comparison to the rest, after struggling to turn on for a few seconds on the last try.
I told Scottie to reverse the polarity, but he said he'd given it all he got.
I'd read the horrible reviews before I bought it, but sub-3 dollars, who cares right?
Of course batteries are expensive and now I lost that money too.
Meh.
