Really I would rate this a 3.5, but that isn't an option.This is a fairly nice pot rack.If the natural wood look fits in well for your kitchen this is probably a good pot rack for you.It's a fairly inexpensive premade item that doesn't look cheap.It's certainly very useful and frees up a lot of space otherwise taken up in cabinets.The adjustability of the hooks very useful when you're fitting up odd shaped pots or pans and it has more than enough hooks to store everything you will want it to.
That said, it's not wonderful - When you actually hold the rack, it feels a bit flimsy and I wouldn't exceed the maximum recommended weight of I think 40 lbs.Also, I would make sure to distribute it evenly, so none of the super heavy pots and pans such as Le Creuset or cast-iron skillets rest on the very ends.The hooks, both kinds included, are sometimes difficult to use and easily readjust themselves making for a pain to climb up and reorient the way you want them to be.
Overall, this isn't a bad deal for a quick pot rack, especially if you don't have the desire or time to make one yourself.Had I to do over again, I probably would have gone to a hardware store and purchased some nice hardwood beams (2x4 or 4x4) and large ceiling hooks (for hanging the rack itself and also the pots from it), constructed one myself, and stained it exactly to match my kitchen.
