I ordered this light online for my dining room without having seen it in person first.Upon arrival, I was overwhelmed by the size and thought there is no way this will "fit" into my room without being too overbearing and causing the space to become crowded.It sat for a couple months and then a light "guy" came in (to install a chandelier) and said this light fixture falls in the guides for a traditional sized table and the "box" around the light really just makes it feel bigger than it is.So we installed it.I am so glad we did.It is large, it will certainly be noticed but it's like a piece of art in the room, but does NOT make the room feel smaller, The structure is sturdy and the lighting is good and bright.It really is a unique fixture.
