Good Earth Lighting GLS2401-BN-I Decorative Energy Saving One Light Flush Mount Ceiling Fixture with Cast Opal Diffuser, Brushed Nickel Review

The picture of this ceiling light is very deceiving. It looks like the base of the lamp is flush with the ceiling, which was the sleek look that I was after. But it is not. There is an additional base depth of about 3 inches of a smaller diameter that the pic does not show. When installed, the large round base is actually "hanging" 3 inches from the ceiling. While the quality and finish seem fine, this lamp seems over-priced. IKEA sells one that looks very much like it at under $10, that DOESN'T use a specialty bulb (read expensive).
