I bought this to replace my reflective vanity light exterior which had rusted after years of exposure to humidity.i did not mess with any of the electrical stuff, i only used this to replace the shiny part of the fixture.it fit perfectly and looks great.it is also made of a different material than my old fixture, and this fixture looks to be more prone to not rust.
